Are you fed up with Fixed amount deducted every time you recharge your mobile? No more that is allowed. Now Indian Telecom Watchdog TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) asked mobile companies provide full talk time on every recharge. Companies can only deduct administrative charges which should not exceed Rs.2/-. and applicable taxes. Reported Silicon India about this new measure by TRAI on their blog.
This new measure will come into force from 15th, Sept 2008. Earlier Telecom operators used to deduct fixed amount on each and every recharge for talk time to it’s customers even though there is validity.
